If you are looking for a dose of garden inspiration, then pay a visit to Cambo House Gardens at Kingsbarns, St Andrews in the next month or so. I was there yesterday with a group of garden designers from the Society of Garden Designers and we were had a great visit led by the Head Gardener, Elliott Forsyth who was generous with his time and knowledge. It was a pleasure to visit the gardens plus I also learnt a lot about more unusual habitats, plant varieties and their pros and cons. I know some of the plant varieties I saw will find their way into some of the planting plans I am working on. See www.camboestate.com for information.
